This was an amazing walk. Incredibly pretty through out
The walk starts at the Mt Zero car park. The beginning section sees you scrambling over a steep rocky path. However this soon tapers off and winds through the top of the hill and lovely scrub. the second ascent takes you through some magnificent cliff faces whose colour changes depending on the light.
the top of the second ascent gives you magnificent views looking back to Mt Zero and it is a great spot to stop, have some lunch and just watch the world below you go by.
From here you wind your way around low bush and sandy soils to the far side of Mt Stapylton, though a craggy rock formations before beginning the fourth ascent which takes you past a fantastic wind cave and to the summit of Mt Stapleton which commandeers some impressive views.
This walk while only a few hours long, is definitely for fitter walkers, and I would highly recommend packing extra layers as conditions change through out the walk. Water, and plenty of it, is also a must .
